Valerie McKinney is the Director of Hospitality Services at Kennesaw State University, bringing experience across hotels, off-premise catering, and higher education. From beginning her career as a banquet server to advancing into food and beverage management and university hospitality leadership, she brings a unique perspective shaped by both frontline service and executive leadership. With more than 14 years in university hospitality, Valerie is passionate about developing people, strengthening operations, and sharing the lessons campus hospitality can offer the broader catering industry.
