Samuel Kim, Director of Culinary, Deborah Miller Catering
Spending many of his formative years living abroad in multiple countries, Samuel Kim’s childhood memories are always tied to food. After graduating with a B.S. in Finance from the University of Maryland – College Park, he briefly entered investment banking but quickly realized his passion and calling was to work with food. Samuel jumped into the culinary world training some of the world’s most acclaimed kitchens, including Jean-Georges, Per Se, Colicchio & Sons, and The Modern. With over a decade of executive experience, he has led multi-unit restaurant operations for top-tier hospitality groups such as Kijung Hospitality Group and Clyde’s Restaurant Group, driving innovation in menu development, food cost optimization, and team leadership. His background in both culinary arts and finance uniquely position him to elevate guest experiences while delivering strong financial performance.
