Chef Nina Love, founder of The Culinary Griot™, takes attendees on a culinary journey through Vietnamese New Orleans, exploring how migration, community, Gulf Coast ingredients, and cultural adaptation have shaped the city’s evolving food story.

During the culinary demonstration, she will prepare a Lemongrass Gulf Shrimp Bánh Mì-Inspired crostini featuring quick-pickled carrot and mirliton, cucumber, fresh herbs, crispy shallots, and Cajun-spiced Vietnamese-style mayonnaise.

Designed as an elegant, catering-ready hors d’oeuvre, the crostini is an edible passport stamp connecting the Mekong and Mississippi Deltas. The session combines cultural storytelling, culinary tourism, live cooking, and practical menu inspiration for catering and event professionals.
